The Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator works to determine an individual’s body fat based on height and weight.
There are several classifications of obesity. If you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or higher, then you may qualify for bariatric surgery. Patients with a BMI of 35.0-39.9 may also qualify as long as one or more co-morbidities are present. Patients with BMI’s as low as 30 with an obesity-related condition may qualify for gastric banding or sleeve gastrectomy through our cash pay program.
