Pre-Surgery
After submitting your request for a free insurance check or consultation from our Get Started Page, your application will be processed by our Surgical Program Coordinators within approximately one week. You will receive a personalized benefits summary and detailed letter regarding your insurance coverage, or cash pay information.After your request has been processed, our Surgical Program Coordinators will contact you to schedule your pre-surgical consultations. Your appointments will be scheduled according to your availability and will include the following visits:
- Surgical Consultation – Completed @ OWLS Clinic
- Nutrition counseling – Completed @ OWLS Clinic
- Psychological evaluation – Completed by external provider
- Lab work – Completed @ external lab
- EKG- Completed @ external lab
- Sleep study- Completed by external provider
- Additional visits or evaluations may be necessary depending on medical history and insurance requirements
